Buying a Pram Newborn

Prams and pushchairs are multi-functional, flexible partners of caregivers and parents. They're the co-pilots in the new journey of your child.

A pram newborn is a must for newborns and babies and has the most solid, sturdy carrycot with soft and safe walls.

A pram will typically come with a bassinet but can be converted to a stroller seat once baby is ready.

Safety

Newborns must be protected to the greatest extent possible. A stroller or pram with safety features will ensure that your baby is secure and comfortable while traveling. The essential requirements for any stroller or pram include a functioning brake, a 5-point safety harness (2 shoulder straps, 2 waist straps and an strap for the crotch) and the wrist tether strap that is for the person who is pushing the pram. Verify that the stroller you choose meets these standards.

Find a triple pram which allows your baby to ride in the recommended lying-flat position. This position supports the baby and helps prevent a potentially dangerous curve in the spine which could cause spinal issues.
