The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as as jet-setters. This is thanks to its super nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a stylish pushchair that has a soft elegant design. The frame's weight alone is just under a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it using one hand).

The hood, as an example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a calm way. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps avoid stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It could also be converted into a stroller after 6 months by using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle, meaning parents can pick which mode they prefer on their trip. The wagon can fit two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a large storage basket that can hold all your necessities when you are on the move.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that move from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This may not be suitable for long journeys or naps.

The frame of the Xplore is solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It took us just under three minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite this being quite narrow, the pushchair handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without any fuss.
