Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and other items. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows the player to bring pistols into an operation. Some players use this to achieve certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to fill in a gap. If you are using this slot, it's important to keep in mind that you'll have to click the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo also adds a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is in the slot.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled items slot is an amazing feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are secretly stored in hidden locations around the map and can be recovered at any moment. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions. It lets players discover different starting points, smuggled objects and gear classic slots before they enter the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to design the perfect mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will notice their gear fair slots quickly get full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges. Because many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it might take some time to obtain the most inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can take them out later.

These pickups are particularly useful when you have to go through a frisk at the end of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise trigger suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker for your mission you can identify a crowd upon arrival.
