It's also easy to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as for jet-setters. This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a car trunk or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the easiest to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base, and a reversible car.

It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Although it is narrow, the pushchair handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without a hitch.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction and can also pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. On our walk along the stony path we let them move and it performed well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to fold and can fit into the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods which are bounced back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

It also comes travel system equipped with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are simple to use with single action colored and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single push chair pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and comes with excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also very light and sturdy. The seat is reclined in several positions. It comes with a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each other. They can also be set to face the parents. This will help reduce sibling disputes over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a massive gear tray, bottle holder as well as snack trays and a change mat. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great stroller for parents who like to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as it comes, but you can use it from the beginning with the purchase of adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and put together in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
