The basket is smaller than the other models, but it can still accommodate a huge changing bag. There are additional trays to store drinks, snacks and toys.

It's suitable for babies from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens, making it ideal for extended nap times or walks. The magnetic 5-point harness is easy to use. It's also super light at just 6.6kg and includes a travel bag.

British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with new parents" by creating pushchairs that are "functional, innovative and stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to carry two kids side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has raised stadium-style seating so both kids can see the world around them.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy for you to fold and lift, drive and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate the second child seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it can be put together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps in comparison to other models.

They also point out that the front seat can't fully recline and they had to use their hands to get it down which they don't want to be forced to do while traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that could be improved with a few adjustments. They love the compact size when folded.

It is one of the most compact, full-featured double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards, including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of various age groups to comfortably sit together, and the seats are independently reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopy has an adjustable sun visor that can be removed and the storage basket is spacious. It is compatible with nearly all brands and accepts two adapters for infant car seats with the purchase of car seats.

The only downside is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to get into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It's also more expensive than other double buggies. However, it has been designed to last and offers numerous features for the price. It's a good option for parents in urban areas who don't want to carry around a bulky stroller. And, the straps that are padded and buckles with five points ensure safety for babies.

Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a stylish, functional and beautiful buggy with a an elegant design. It's a high-quality product but it's not without faults.

It's got only a handful of extra features for the children and parents. The only thing provided by the side bin is that it is only available when a seat in the car is attached. There are no parent trays cup holders, cup holders or pockets for accessories, and this could be problematic for long trips.

The seats also don't recline to a completely flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back comfortably. It's a pity considering that this is a high-end vehicle.

On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels are great for climbing up the steps and slopes. It's also small enough to fit through most doorways and folds down quickly for easy storage and transportation. It can also be switched to mono mode with just three clicks, if you require more space or a quick escape. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board should you're required to. If you're on budget there are alternatives that are less expensive. It's worth it though in the event that you're a huge fan of the brand and have money to spend.
