Today's key fobs do more than simply unlock and start your vehicle. They also control your windows and sunroof. As such, they cost a lot to replace if they break or are damaged.

It's possible to change the fob battery on your own and save money. Here's how Begin by locating an opening or latch on the key fob case and then inserting your tool.

Battery

Summoning
