The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

For pets with shedding fur, a robot vacuum/mop combo is one of the best floor cleaning solutions. This machine can mop, vacuum and clean its own dual mop pad.

It also has the greatest suction power of any robot we've tested, at 8,000Pa. It can also organize cleaning schedules and save maps of Upgrade Your Cleaning Routine with Matrix Robot Vacuum house using its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the most recent in the Ecovacs range of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model that is wet-dry is fitted with Ecovacs' new AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system that provides improved mapping and obstacles avoidance. It uses dual laser LiDAR, similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan up to 32 feet across by the 270-degree angle. This means more precise mapping as well as faster response time and better cleaning accuracy.

It also has an alternating mopping mat made of chenille, making it much easier to scrub hard areas than traditional mop. In my tests, the X2 Omni took just over one minute to wash its pad before getting to work. I also noticed that it was more precise than the previous models, which were able to follow a grid-like route around rooms. It was adept at navigating my rooms with its corners and edges as well as create a "Zambani pattern" that ran up and down the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station frequently to empty the dustbin, and wash the mop with hot water prior to beginning another cleaning task.

Like other Ecovacs products The X2 Omni is a breeze to set up and start using. It takes only a few minutes to put the dock in its place, plug it into and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. Then, you're able to launch the app and begin with your first cleaning task. I was able to dive into the settings and personalize my floor plan in less than 15 minutes, incorporating zones that are restricted for sweeping and mopping and reworking my furniture layouts, and much more. The X2 Omni performed impressively during my tests, with excellent scores for debris removal and pet hair cleaning, as well as near-perfect results in cleaning crevices and edges.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The ECOVACS T10 Omni is a powerful vacuum and mopping machine. It is the most advanced model of the brand's T-line and features the latest OZMO Turbo 2.0 mopping system that utilizes dual-spinning brushes to provide more effective cleaning than traditional oscillating scrubbers. It also has YIKO, an artificial language processing technology that is a first of its kind. This allows it to respond to various voice commands. The ECOVACS App allows you to design your home, create cleaning schedules and modify settings.

The main flaw of the T10 Omni is that it's unable to switch between vacuuming and mopping in one run. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off in accordance with your needs. This is fine for the majority of households, but not so for people who have a busy schedule.

The Deebot T10 is an excellent robot vacuum that delivers impressive results. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the particles we tossed at it on our hardwood flooring and floors, which is a remarkable performance. It also did an excellent job on tile and carpet and tile, getting rid of more than 99% of dirt and other debris.

This robotic mop and vacuum has an enormous docking station that offers cool water cleaning for its mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L bag that is easy to replace, and hot-air drying for quick and easy maintenance. It also has a huge water tank that allows more frequent rinses and dry between mopping runs.

The Deebot T10 features a wash tray that is built into its base, which is similar to other mopping robots. It uses the wash tray to wash and dry its mop pads when it is using them. However, it doesn't have a removable tray, meaning that dirty water dust, dirt, and other grime gradually build up on the bottom of the tray over time.

3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid

While Anker-owned Eufy is well-known in the field of robot vacuums but this model is its first venture into the world of mopping. It features Bagotte BG600: Upgraded Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Mop intelligence and support for multiple maps, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that adjusts automatically to the floor you're cleaning. It's a mid-range robotic cleaner that's appealing, even if its claim of being a one-stop shop for floor cleaning doesn't come true.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a traditional robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular design with sweeping wheels and a raised area for sensors. Flip it over, however, and you'll find a motorised floor brush plus a single side sweeper brush that carries dirt from the edges into the main path of the robot's'mouth'. It's smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9 which I found made it easier to reach under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system is fairly sophisticated, allowing you to set no-mop zones as well as specific cleaning zones. However it is prone to bump into things (including its charging dock) and isn't the best at climbing over rug. It was good at picking up pet hair from carpets. In our tests, it picked up 89.5% kitty litter.

Although it's controlled through the app and the app, the X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base, which allow you to choose the cleaning mode and turn the robot on/off. These buttons can be used to create areas that aren't allowed to enter and view real-time maps. It's also a little chatty and will inform you of what it's going to do next (start cleaning) or alert you when something isn't right.

4. ILIFE A4s

This advanced model collects pet hair, kibble, and other messes with remarkable efficiency and maneuvers flawlessly around furniture legs. It has a feature set that is impressive, including two cleaning modes as well as an automatic docking station and real-time obstacles avoidance technology. It is Wi-Fi-enabled and is best controlled through the Neato app where cleaning can be scheduled and overall maintenance needs monitored. The X2 Omni is an excellent choice for homes that have a a mix of hard carpet and floors, but it requires some advanced planning to avoid getting stuck on electrical cords, toys, or other obstacles that might be unexpected.

In our tests of hardwood floors and kibble, this robot performed well and picked up everything from one grain of rice to multiple pieces of dog food in one pass. It had some trouble with rugs but, generally speaking, this vacuum cleaner is great for large rooms that contain floors of different types as well as a mixture of pets.

The A4s Pro is a bit expensive however it's a great option for those who wish to to leave the house with no hands on so they can get out and do other things or do chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning feature that increases suction to get rid of the most difficult spills or dirt. It also includes a battery-powered ElectroWall to define the boundaries of the robot.

This budget-friendly choice from a popular upstart brand is the cheapest robot we've tested yet and offers an outstanding value for cost. Its navigation system is basic and uses an extremely basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, making it less time efficient than the other models on this list. It's still able to get under furniture and into the corners. Its mopping mode performed very well in our tests and picked up hairs that were straying and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not appear as durable, but it is better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It gets rid of floors with less thoroughly and does a fair job on carpets with a low pile and uses smart-pathing navigational technology for superior maneuverability. It can be directed to a specific location, and comes with a range of advanced automation features including no-go zones and schedules. It also allows you to suspend and restart cleaning sessions, making it perfect for homes with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll is able to prevent tangles with pet hair and other debris, and its self-emptying docking station can hold up to 30 days of dirt prior to needing to be cleaned. It has a set angled side brushes to reach into corners and a multi-stage filter system that collects dust, dander and allergens.

The robot vacuum is built well and feels solid. It has a smartphone application that lets you change the vacuum's settings and schedule cleaning sessions ahead of time. The app lets you check the remaining battery life of the iQ, and send push notifications if it encounters any issues during a cleaning session. You can use your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device or, if you don't have either, you can mark off areas with physical boundary strips.

lefant-m210-robot-vacuum-cleaner-2200pa-The iQ excels for cleaning floors that aren't clean and is able to do well on carpets with low pile and shaggy edges. However it doesn't provide the same level of autonomy as our top picks. It's also costly and its recurring cost can add up.lefant-m210p-robot-vacuum-cleaner-featur
